#1.) ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin
A rivalry that defined an entire era. The Rock and Steve Austin were two of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era and perhaps the two biggest stars in WWE history. They faced each other in three different WrestleMania‘s and multiple PPVs. When they feuded with each other, there simply wasn’t anything or anyone bigger. Is it surprising that the greatest WrestleMania of all time(X7) had them main eventing?
It was clear that the respect between the two was mutual after all the wars they had been through. That’s perhaps the reason why Steve Austin did the honours and let The Rock retire him for good.
