#5.) Charlotte vs Natalya – NXT TakeOver 2014
This was the match that was a major game-changer in women’s wrestling in WWE. While many women of the past, including the Divas, played their own role in helping the women reach the levels they do today, this match really kickstarted the conversation of the revolution to come.
After Paige had gone up to the main roster and won the Divas title on her debut, the NXT Women’s Championship was left vacant, and Charlotte and Natalya would battle it out in a tournament final to crown a new champion. With Ric Flair in Charlotte’s corner and Bret Hart in Natalya’s, the two would have the best women’s match in WWE of the decade up till that point and things would never be the same.
After an incredible bout, Charlotte would emerge victorious, becoming the second NXT Women’s Champion.
