Brie Bella was left in a tough spot when Daniel Bryan had to vacate his WWE World Championship in 2014 due to injury. Stephanie McMahon threatened to fire Brie if Bryan didn’t vacate. Brie decided to leave out of her own will, but when Bryan vacated the title, Brie was re-instated.
This led to an intense rivalry between Brie and Stephanie McMahon. Harsh words were exchanged and things got personal really fast. They would have a very entertaining bout at SummerSlam where Stephanie McMahon would win after Nikki Bella assisted her.
