#2.) Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is undoubtedly the most beloved babyface of the modern WWE era. His rise to the top in 2013-14 was unparalleled and there was no superstar at their peak more over than Bryan since ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. For many years after that, whether it was during his retirement or his comeback after it, he was naturally slotted in as a babyface.

However, his run in 2018 had gotten slightly stagnant once the honeymoon phase had ended.
