#5.) Cedric Alexander
Some may doubt this as Cedric Alexander has been on a losing skid when challenging for the United States Championship, but is it really the right time to put the title on him? Alexander is still young with a lot of time and the man who he has been feuding with is one of the best in the World.
It’s hard to displace the likes of AJ Styles as United States Champion and Alexander will have his time – it’s just going to take a few years, as it should. He has the kind of story where people want to see him rise to the top organically over the course of years. In that time, he will find some midcard Championship success, but ultimately, he has the potential to rise all the way to the top.
