This may not be in the list of people’s favorite matches, especially since they had a better one three years prior. While we do admit that they could have done a better job of the match, an apathetic crowd certainly didn’t help their cause. Regardless, it was a year after Brock Lesnar won the Universal title and the general assumption was that the main event was meant to be a coronation for Roman Reigns.
Instead, it turned into a showcase for The Beast Incarnate, who beat him mercilessly into a bloody mess. At the end of it, Lesnar shockingly ended up pinning Reigns clean, securing the biggest title defense of his Universal Championship reign.
