#1.) Thumbs up-Thumbs down

It’s hard to argue against people who say that Evolution’s storyline was the best in the Ruthless Aggression Era. Very few storylines are able to have such impact and create stars of such caliber – but that’s exactly what happened to both Randy Orton and Batista. While Orton was meant to benefit from it in the short run, they rushed his push a bit too much and he ended up suffering as a result.

While he would have to wait a while longer to reach the top again, it was Batista who benefited from it. Fans desperately wanted to see Batista turn on Triple H the same way Triple H turned on Orton – first showing the thumbs up sign then reversing it before the attack began.

So when Batista finally turned on Triple H, it couldn’t have been better. He goaded Triple H and Ric Flair into thinking that he was going to challenge for the WWE title, but showed the thumbs down and attacked them both, cementing his face turn.
