It’s still surreal to think that over a decade and a half ago, Vince McMahon faced his own daughter in an “I Quit”+ “Loser Gets Fired” match. It all started as a dispute because Stephanie McMahon, then the SmackDown General Manager, announced that Brock Lesnar would have to face The Undertaker at No Mercy.
For the next few weeks, Mr. McMahon would try various means to get his daughter to retract the decision, but she was adamant. As a result, Vince announced that he would face her in an “I Quit” match, though he added that Stephanie could still win by pinfall or submission.
