You read that right. According to PWTorch, Big E was Vince McMahon’s big project before he changed his mind. Sean Waltman revealed to Wade Keller that he had told Triple H about Roman Reigns long before he became a big star. However, Triple H had his mind set on Roman Reigns and managed to convince McMahon that The Big Dog was a better choice to be the face of the company.
In hindsight, it probably turned out to be the right call.
