A year before their war at Slammiversary, AJ Styles and Kurt Angle teamed up at the event to take on the tag team champions Bad Influence. Now, not only is this match underrated, but it might be one of the most underappreciated matches in Impact Wrestling history. Simply put, this is a tag team masterclass and Angle and AJ were traditionally singles wrestlers.
They gelled together, whether they were with each other or against each other. It was a great moment for both men when they defeated Daniels & Kazarian to become the new tag team champions.
