#4.) AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle – Slammiversary XI

AJ Styles and Kurt Angle had faced off at Slammiversary in 2008 and AJ Styles had won that. But this was different. While that match was undoubtedly great in its own right, it was marred by the fact that it was overbooked and didn’t really have a clean finish. As for this one, it was different because the AJ Styles coming in was a very different version of himself.

It was a more dark and serious version of Styles and he even had a new theme song Evil Ways. This was a very good successor to their series of matches in 2008 and it was a technical masterpiece of sorts, still not as appreciated as the 2008 match. Either way, they proved why they had an incredible amount of chemistry together. Angle walked out narrowly with a victory.
