How many stories have we heard of big superstars simply refusing to put other people over? For many top stars, it’s been the case where they know their time is winding down and it’s time to pass the torch. However, due to insecurity about losing that spot, they’ve often taken to backstage politicking to prevent that from happening.
With John Cena, the opposite has been the case. As he began winding down and transitioned into a career in Hollywood, he acknowledged the fact that his time was truly up and he began putting superstars over left and right. In fact, if Cena were in any high profile feud now, it would be all but guaranteed that he would end up losing to his opponent.
Whether it’s Roman Reigns, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bray Wyatt or anyone else, Cena has been very selfless in giving back towards the tail end of his career.
