#4.) Brock Lesnar vs John Cena – Extreme Rules
The night on RAW after WrestleMania 28, John Cena came out to admit that The Rock was clearly the better man. His promo was cut short by Brock Lesnar, who returned to WWE after seven years away. The roof of the arena erupted as Brock Lesnar returned and attacked John Cena.
He went right after the face of the franchise, leading to a big-time main event battle at Extreme Rules. It would turn out to be a bloody war between the two old rivals, with Lesnar facing a different John Cena than the one he faced in 2003. In a rather surprising decision, John Cena went over Lesnar in his return match.
While that decision was criticized, the match in itself delivered on all accounts.
