#4.) Batista vs John Cena – Over the Limit
Batista had one final chance at John Cena and the WWE Championship. Their rivalry starting from before WrestleMania saw Cena pick up the WWE title at the grandest stage of them all. They would compete in a much better match around a month later at Extreme Rules, where Cena handily defeated Batista in a Last Man Standing match.
With one last shot, Batista and Cena would compete in an “I Quit” match. As expected, it brought out the best of both men, but Batista ended up taking way more punishment than he should have. With Cena hoisting him up in the fireman’s carry position, he was all ready to send The Animal crashing through the stage. A frightened Batista would declare “I Quit”, but Cena mercilessly put him through the stage anyway.
The following night, Batista would quit WWE for real.
