#1.) Shawn Michaels vs John Cena – RAW
You probably expected this to top the list but are also asking “Why isn’t their WrestleMania encounter on this list?”. We could have put it in, but we wanted a little more variety in the list. There’s no doubt that their WrestleMania 23 main event was a deserving match of its caliber, but somehow, it wasn’t even close to their contest on RAW around a month later.
A non-title match in the UK, Cena and Michaels went on for nearly a full hour, leaving the crowd on their feet for a good part of that. Cena had rarely performed in matches that long, so it was a big deal when he proved that he could hang with Shawn Michaels on all apsects. This time around, Michaels would end up winning clean.
