#4.) Edge vs John Cena – Unforgiven
2006 was the year of one of the most defining rivalries of the Ruthless Aggression Era – Edge vs John Cena. From the start of 2006, Edge had been behind Cena in pursuit of the WWE title, even winning it a couple of times. They had an incredible set of matches together, but perhaps none of their bouts was as good as their TLC match at Unforgiven.
The match, for the WWE title, not only saw Cena chasing it, but if he were to lose, he would be forced to move to SmackDown. It was a match filled with intensity and a great story told as a whole. Even hardcore fans couldn’t be bitter about Cena triumphing, because he did it in emphatic fashion, sending Edge through two stacks of tables via an Attitude Adjustment. He regained the title.
