#4.) Shane McMahon vs Kurt Angle – King of the Ring 2001

Credit where credit is due. Shane McMahon always went all out to prove to the locker room that he belonged and perhaps the first major example of him doing so was at King of the Ring against Kurt Angle. Angle had just come off a failed KOTR tournament final, where Edge defeated him.

Not soon after on the same night, he would take on The Prodigal Son Shane McMahon in a street fight for the ages. Till date, Shane McMahon has never had a better match, but he set the bar very high for himself. The most brutal and uncomfortable part of the match was when Angle tried to suplex Shane through a glass, only for it to not break. Despite landing on his head, Shane asked Angle to do it over and over until the glass broke, reportedly leading to Vince McMahon being infuriated.
