CM Punk has the rare distinction of being a back-to-back winner of the MITB briefcase. The first of two wins came in 2008, when CM Punk overcame multiple other superstars at WrestleMania 24. On RAW, Edge was all smiles about his dirty win over Batista that allowed him to keep the World Heavyweight Championship.
However, an infuriated Batista assaulted Edge, allowing CM Punk to cash in his briefcase just 92 days after winning it, bringing the World Heavyweight Championship back to RAW. Unfortunately for Punk, his reign would be cut short and abruptly, with The Straight Edge Superstar never actually losing the title.
