#2.) vs Bret Hart – SummerSlam 1994
The beginning of 1994 saw Owen Hart turn on his brother Bret, leading to a classic encounter at WrestleMania. After Owen won the King of the Ring that year, he would continue his feud against Bret, who was World Champion by this point. Many argue that their SummerSlam encounter was better than WrestleMania, and it’s fair to believe so.
The steel cage match really set the bar high (literally), and it turned out to be an all-out war. Why it didn’t main event Summerslam that year is bewildering, but either way, Bret managed to walk out with his head and title held high.
