5 Greatest WWE Superstars Of The Ruthless Aggression Era

The Ruthless Aggression Era of WWE was a very pivotal phase of time for the company. They had finished up the Attitude Era by the first half of 2001, and there was a bit of a limbo period where they were essentially in-between eras, with a few of the top stars either slowly transitioning out, or having finished their careers.

What was a major mark of the Ruthless Aggression Era was the fact that there was a very special batch of trainees in the WWE developmental territories – Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). This saw arguably the greatest batch in the history of developmental. Some of the names included John Cena (then known as Prototype), Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Batista (then known as Leviathan) and Shelton Benjamin.

It kickstarted an era where these superstars would slowly but surely dominate WWE, and become top stars for years to come. The Ruthless Aggression era was a middle ground between the Attitude Era and PG Era, and it featured talent at their very best. Here are the five best superstars of the PG Era.
