#2.) Edge

Edge was a tag team specialist in the Attitude Era, being a part of one of the most influential and revolutionary periods of time in tag team wrestling history. However, Vince McMahon saw a singles star in Edge, and he had the perfect eye for talent. Edge would branch out and find moderate success in the midcard, but when he won the first-ever Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 21, his fortunes would change forever.

By early 2006, he would win his first WWE Championship, and that would kickstart his main event run. He would end his career with a whopping 11 world championships, and Edge was the most hated heel in the company, bar none. He seized the opportunity given to him and became a massive star. He main evented WrestleMania 24 against The Undertaker, a moment that he considers the pinnacle of his career.
