#1.) Sting
This one is far from undeserving, but it’s undoubtedly still a bit surreal. Sting, who was the embodiment of WCW, essentially the face of the franchise during their peak, not only was inducted into the 2016 Hall of Fame class, but he would headline it as well. To have a WCW star headline the show like that was somewhat incredible, and even more so given that he had all but two matches in WWE and an extensive tenure in TNA.
Either way, The Icon absolutely deserved his spot. It’s just a little surprising, that’s all.
