#1.) Shawn Michaels

With the name “Mr. WrestleMania” given to you, it really is self-explanatory, isn’t it? He may not have a record like The Undertaker, but what Shawn Michaels holds is the distinction of being the single greatest performer in WrestleMania history. While The Undertaker has a streak, not all of those matches were memorable ones.

Michaels, on the other hand, would be in memorable, marquee matches year after year and would never fail to steal the show. Every match he was in – title or no title, felt like one of the two most important matches on the card, and when it came to The Showstealer, it was a nickname that he would truly live up to.

He’s faced the very best of his generation and the next, and was able to say farewell at WrestleMania 26 on his own terms. He will always be the greatest peformer on the grandest stage of them all.
