2002 was an incredible year for HBK. He made his big comeback from what was supposed to be a career-ending injury, and ended up right back in the main event mix. The story of 2002 was his association and rivalry with Triple H. He beat The Game in a street fight, but he needed to cement his return with a World title win.
Come Survivor Series 2002 and it was the first-ever Elimination Chamber match. Triple H had a fantastic performance of his own, beginning the match and lasting all the way till the end. Michaels would beat The Game and win his final World Championship.
