#5.) vs Randy Orton – Backlash 2004
This is a match that Foley himself considers to be one of, if not the best of his career. After unsuccessfully facing 3/4th of Evolution at WrestleMania with The Rock by his side, he would continue his feud with Orton, who was the Intercontinental Champion at the time. They would face off in a Hardcore match, which was Foley’s specialty.
Foley wrestled as Cactus Jack for this match, and he would take Orton to his limit, as it was the youngster’s first major test. He put over Orton huge in what was a rather brutal affair, to put it lightly. Orton walked out with the Intercontinental title, getting a huge rub from the legend.
