#3.) Daniel Bryan‘s in-ring return
It seemed to be a certainty that Daniel Bryan would never return to the ring. Not in WWE, atleast. With Bryan publicly revealing that his contract expired in September 2018, the assumption was that he would wait it out, leave and wrestle elsewhere, like New Japan Pro Wrestling or even Ring Of Honor.
However, in early 2018, WWE.com released the breaking news that Daniel Bryan was cleared for an in-ring return. It sent the wrestling world abuzz and everyone was overjoyed at Bryan being cleared to do what he loves the most. Turns out, Bryan and WWE had come to an agreement where he would be medically checked after every match.
He then proceeded to put the ink on paper, signing a new deal with WWE.
