Who would have ever imagined that AJ Styles would join the elite list of being one of the few superstars to hold the WWE title for over a year? Styles’ reign as champion was nothing short of historic, as he ran through competitors and proved why he’s the best in-ring performer of this generation.
Styles dominated the year and was the face of SmackDown Live. He represented the company and title like a true champion and got himself a lot more fans in the process. He had the pressure of being champion for over a year before finally passing the baton over to Daniel Bryan. But what a phenomenal year its been for him.
