#3.) CM Punk takes a Swanton Bomb from hell – SummerSlam 2009
What a main event his was. Jeff Hardy‘s entire career has been associated with crazy spots and leaps of faith, but this one was one of a kind. He set CM Punk up on the announce table and took the tallest ladder possible and placed it next to the table. What’s truly amazing about this is how he had such perfect balance when standing on the top of the ladder with no support.
He made it look so easy and as you can see from the video above, the Swanton bomb looked as smooth as butter. He executed it to perfection, in a way that only he knew how to do. It’s mind-blowing to think that until 2017, Hardy had never faced any major wrestling related injury (the only other injury he had was due to a dirt biking accident).
