What many people aren’t aware of is that Gail Kim has a lot of experience inside steel cage matches. In early 2014, she was in the midst of a Knockouts title feud with Madison Rayne, who dethroned her. Their feud went on and culminated inside a steel cage at Lockdown 2014, where she once again challenged The Killer Queen for the title.
It also marked the beginning of the end of Gail Kim’s alliance with Lei’D Tapa as Rayne prevailed and defeated Kim inside the cage to retain the title. Not long after this, Kim and Tapa began to show further tensions and their alliance soon ended.
