At CZW: Cage Of Death 19, Nick Aldis defeated Tim Storm to become NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. He made history, becoming only the second-ever British-born NWA World Champion. Who was the first? It was none other than the legendary Gary Steele!
Interestingly enough, when he defeated Jeff Hardy on December 2013 to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, he also became the first-ever British-born TNA World Champion. Drew Galloway would follow him a few years later.
