#4.) His original WWE debut
Johnny Impact famously made his main roster debut with Joey Mercury as a part of MNM, winning the tag team championships on their very first night. However, this wasn’t a debut, but a re-debut. Believe it or not, he initially debuted in 2004, being the assistant of then-RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff.
This was where he went from Johnny Blaze to Johnny Spade and then Johnny Nitro. The “Nitro” name was a play on WCW Nitro, linking back to Bischoff. Interestingly enough, his theme song was even the Nitro theme! However, it seemed like WWE felt he needed more time in developmental, so he was written off TV and sent back to OVW.
