#1.) Impact Wrestling World Championship
The most recent entry to this list, Johnny Impact’s feud with Austin Aries was quite an interesting one. Impact decided to take a different approach to build to their Bound For Glory main event and in interviews and social media, both competitors expressed severe dislike for each other. Things got personal as Aries seemed to take shots at Johnny Impact’s wife Taya Valkyrie, making fun of her appearance.
Even the pre-match press conference was heated with the two being forcefully separated after exchanging harsh words with each other. It definitely amped up fan interest as Impact tried as hard as possible to make their rivalry seem legitimate. It worked out as Impact and Aries had a fantastic main event that saw the former pin Aries to become the new Impact World Champion.
The ending, however, was bizarre, as Aries simply no sold what happened and walked away from the ring, flipping the crowd off.
