Kane defeated ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin to win his first WWE Championship in 1999. His reign may have lasted only one day, but it was an important moment in his career. He was then involved in an entertaining feud with him that also involved The Undertaker and a lot of shenanigans over the WWE Championship.
It was The Attitude Era at its peak and the feud was one of several great ones in the era.
