#3.) Spearing John Cena to win the WWE Championship
It was New Year’s Revolution 2006 and John Cena had survived an Elimination Chamber match, retaining the WWE Championship. The aftermath was not pretty, with Cena being covered with blood. Vince McMahon then announced that Edge was cashing in his MITB briefcase (the first-ever cash-in).
Edge would then dispose of Cena in quick fashion, hitting him with a couple of spears to win his first WWE Championship. It would mark his first world title in WWE (first of 11). Though the reign didn’t last long, it was the beginning of great things for The Rated-R Superstar.
