Can you believe it? One of the all-time great Women in WWE history was never meant to be an in-ring talent! It’s no secret that Stratus was hired due to her modeling experience and looks. It was a time where WWE only seemed to hire models and Lita was one of the few exceptions to that.
Stratus was hired with the sole intention of being a valet, as she accompanied T & A (Test & Albert). However, her popularity skyrocketed, particularly during her storyline affair with Vince McMahon. Her popularity was what led her to start wrestling and Stratus chose to focus on her in-ring work over her looks. Dedication and commitment was what led her to rapid improvement. In just a matter of a year or so, Stratus was already on a higher level.
Her vast improvement saw her rack up a record Seven Women’s Championships. She focused on getting better and never looked back.
