#4.) Beating Edge at Unforgiven 2005
Matt Hardy and Edge were embroiled in a heated feud in 2005 after Hardy revealed that Lita had been cheating on him with Edge in real life. WWE decided to turn the real-life incident into a storyline between the three.
While it was Edge’s time as he was the one getting pushed, they still had a great feud playing off of real life. The penultimate match of their feud came at Unforgiven 2005, where they faced off inside a steel cage. Hardy finally got a big one over Edge by beating him. It was a sweet moment for fans watching, as they were completely behind Hardy and completely against Edge (thanks to Edge’s masterclass heel work).
Though Hardy may not have won the feud, it was a great moment that can never be taken away from him.
