Rikishi’s younger brother – the late, great Umaga was who Rusev took influence from. When you really look at comparisons in move set, it’s quite evident that Rusev has taken more than a page out of Umaga’s book. It’s quite likely that Rikishi appreciated this and helped The Bulgarian Brute pay tribute to his brother as much as he could.
Rusev himself stated that his finisher was originally supposed to be the Matchka Kick, but it was later suggested he use the Camel Clutch, later renamed The Accolade for himself
