Edge and Jeff Hardy had numerous matches together, but their best one undoubtedly came in the form of a ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship (is the stipulation any real surprise?). Edge had just won the World Heavyweight Championship and moved to SmackDown, where he renewed an old rivalry with Jeff Hardy.
The chaotic match saw the two fall from ladders multiple times, with certain spots so scary it looked like Hardy had legitimately dislocated his shoulders. The innovative finish saw Hardy counter a spear into a Twist Of Fate mid-air and then trapping Edge’s legs inside the ladder, allowing him to capture the World Heavyweight Championship.
