WWE RAW ended with an 8-man tag team main event, with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose teaming with The Hardy Boyz to take on Anderson, Gallows, Cesaro and Sheamus. A solid main event with some old school wrestling to end a night of talking and promos. I was curious to see why this ended the night and not Cena vs. Strowman, but the booking decisions of WWE RAW are always going to coincide with their ability to steal viewers (if that is even possible) with the NFL. Nevertheless, all four teams did a solid job in the match and the champions ended the night on a positive note with the knee to the face and Dirty Deeds on Anderson to pick up the win.

Another week and WWE needs to realize that Anderson and Gallows are better suited as a face tag team. Unfortunately, they already have Rollins/Ambrose and The Hardy Boyz occupying those top two spots in the tag team division. The talent is four deep, which is more than Smackdown Live. I would not be surprised if we saw Seth and Dean vs. Sheamus and Cesaro past No Mercy and onto TLC with the addition of The Hardy Boyz and Anderson/Gallows. That is a match that should already be booked in the writers’ mind. After that, look for Survivor Series to feature these guys and possibly one more team to each side, but hopefully they are able to shake things up a little with the addition of a fifth and sixth team that could really benefit from working with these 8 established veterans of the ring.
