Isenberg Reacts: Predicting WWE Great Balls of Fire

Can Dean Ambrose Get Revenge on The Miz?

The answer here is no. The Miz is too good and should be IC Champion for quite some time. He has overcome horrible scripting, including a dancing bear and beating up a present. He continues to right the ship when it comes to promos and his ring work continues to be consistent and impressive. There is nothing that The Miz is extremely weak on and that is why he should remain champion. With his Miztourage, this could be the beginning of hopefully a long and successful reign.

Dean and The Miz have feuded for what seems to be an entire year, trickling back to Smackdown Live at the end of 2016. While Dean Ambrose has value, his value is not really close to what it should be. Here is a radical idea: RAW lost TWO tag teams due to splitting up. Why would you not try and spark a Shield reunion? It would give both men something to do and hopefully add a shot of energy into Ambrose’s lackluster character. If you do not want to do that, I am not sure what you can do with Ambrose. Turning him heel would still make him heel#5 on the show. I would put Joe, Braun, Miz and Cass before him in terms of importance.

WINNER: THE MIZ

Big Cass vs. Enzo Amore

Too soon, right? This should be stretched out until SummerSlam, where they really began to get noticed in a much larger spotlight. It is NYC. It is Brooklyn. With that being said, I do not even see this match taking place. When you look at the card, 7 total matches and most likely 3 of them lasting between 20-30 minutes, there might not be a ton of time for this to actually take place. I would much rather prefer Big Cass continuing to look like a coward and attack Enzo Amore backstage or right when he hits his promo. Beat him down so bad that 2-3 weeks go on without him in sight. Boom, you now have drama and intrigue and a really solid mid card match at WWE SummerSlam.

WINNER: NO CONTEST
