The Top 10 Best Cage Matches of All-Time

3. Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit (Raw 2001)

RAW had its fair share of Steel Cage matches, but the rivalry between Angle and Benoit made for some awesome entertainment. Right after this match, Benoit was scheduled to challenge Steve Austin for the WWE Title, so this Cage match was all about promoting Chris as a babyface and casting Austin in his awesome role of a heel.

Both wrestlers went all out, no restraints. Angle climbed to the top, but instead of going out, he went for a Moonsault; Benoit moved and the evil heel made a nasty splat against the mat. Even the finale was great. Benoit did nine German Suplexes, then climbed to the top. Austin showed up and went after him, but he got a nasty headbutt from Benoit. In the end, Austin slammed the cage door against Benoit’s head, making Angle the winner.
