Tag Team Tournament
The Dudley Boyz make easy work of The Lucha Dragons, who have seemed to lost all of their steam as of late. Is it because of their lack of connection to the crowd? Is it because there are so many new or returning teams? Either way, Kalisto will most likely drop the United States Championship sooner rather than later and The Lucha Dragons may be the next “Ascension” of the WWE Tag Team division. I am not saying it is the right call, but it is inevitable. Speaking of tag teams, Enzo and Big Cass come out and bash The Dudley Boyz. Great promo work and you must always bring these guys out to talk, even if it is for 2-3 minutes. When you establish the gimmick to the casual WWE audience, you can do more and be more creative. Until then, keep with what got them over.
The Bullet Club members of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson debuted on WWE Raw by attacking The Uso’s. It was great to see these guys and they have an excellent look. They look very traditional and a team that many people will want to root for because of what they accomplished in NJPW. Was it the right time? I am not sure. Was it the right target? Again, not sure because there are so many new things going on in the tag team division. Where does Finn fit in? Will he ultimately come up to the roster in the next month? I want him to, but also feel NXT NEEDS him right now. I wanted them to come and make an impact on some bigger names, but a natural and organic build could be the best option for them.
