Extreme Rules Match
A rematch from last night with Team Extreme taking on The Wyatt Family. Steel trash cans, crutches, kendo sticks and more are used early and often. Luke Harper stops The Dudley Boyz and hits some big boots. Dreamer uses the Kendo Stick, but Braun knocks him down with a huge clothesline. Bubba Ray goes up top and tries a superplex with Rowan hitting a powerbomb. Great spot heading into a break.
The Wyatt Family begins to dominate and take out the members of ECW. Rhyno begins to unload multiple shots, with Dreamer hitting a dropkick into a trash can. Braun flies across a table while Bray and Bubba Ray continue to fight. Luke gets tossed through two tables off of the Raw stage. Bubba Ray and Bray are in the crowd while Philly loves the action. 3D through a table and Sister Abigail, a boot from Rowan and a belly to belly from Rhyno. He tries the Gore, but gets Sister Abigail instead. Rowan ends it with a splash from the top.
I will be honest when saying this was so much better than last night. It was outrageous in a good way with multiple spots that would benefit Wyatt Family members. Dreamer is driven through the barricade from Strowman, which was an excellent spot. I will take it for what it was, absolute chaos and fun for the crowd and on television. It was excellent. WWE let them go crazy and off script from time to time. I took it as a fan and enjoyed how crazy the match and crowd was. Great stuff. Also, good for Rowan to get the win.
Respect and Tag Team Wrestling
New Day comes out and praises their match and their opponents from last night. They all shake hands and Lucha Dragons and Uso’s walk out. New Day begin to celebrate and dance, but the faces come back and get themselves some. They hit some moves from the top and Uso’s celebrate with Lucha Dragons.
Reminiscent from the glory days of tag team wrestling with this showing of respect. I really enjoyed it and really liked how The New Day started to dance after. The crowd is going to love to hate them or hate to love them. That is how polarizing they are right now and how popular from many perspectives. Last night’s match enhanced a division that needed a wow night. They stole it and I am very excited to see what is in store.
