THE DIAMOND: Finn Balor
Triple H once called Randy Orton the coal that Evolution would squeeze into a diamond in the pro wrestling business. Over a decade of supremacy and numerous world titles later, it’s hard to argue with The Game’s logic in choosing “The Viper” as the future of the WWE way back in 2003.
We asked the Wrestlezone faithful who had all the qualities to be the next big thing. Whether it be through superior in-ring skill, his work on the microphone, psychology, charisma, persona or any other ideal quality, it was Finn Balor and his “dark passenger” who destroyed the competition with nearly 58% of the vote – the biggest victory of the entire series.
It makes sense. The former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion is a proven name all around the world, leading the original incarnation of the Bullet Club in Japan, before making his way to NXT. The question is – how long can Balor coexist with faction leader Kevin Owens before the inevitable breakdown?
Tyler Breeze came up second with just 14% followed by Adrian Neville at 11.5%.
