The Miz Picks Up a Win
The Miz picks up a quick victory over Jey Uso. There was really nothing to note of this match. One half of the tag team champions gets a Skull Crushing Finale for the loss. It looks like WWE is going to keep with Miz and Mizdow vs. The Uso’s.
-Is this the right call “right now” for the tag team division? If not, who should be their next opponents? I asked this on Friday’s Smackdown Reaction and most thought The Ascension should be right there. Do you agree?
The Power of Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan comes out and says that he won the main event at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans. Bryan says he declares his intentions on winning the Royal Rumble and will main event WrestleMania 31. Out comes Stephanie McMahon, who interrupts Daniel Bryan.
Stephanie comes out and pitches her fitness DVD. She talks about what Daniel Bryan did a year ago and everyone bought into it. She calls him an A+ player and then remembers when he broke down with injury. She says A+ players win and stay on top. She talks about how the people believe in him and that he will write the next chapter. She asks if he is ready to do this all over again and he chants yes over and over again.
Bryan talks about how he will not stop fighting. Stephanie McMahon sets Daniel Bryan up against Kane for Smackdown on Thursday night. Kane comes out and Daniel Bryan goes after Kane. Kane throws him into the steel steps and begins to kick him. Daniel Bryan begins to unload on Kane and the referees separate the men. He hits a huge kick and takes down Kane once more.
A perfect sampling of what we missed from Daniel Bryan over the past 8 months. He explodes onto Kane and really shows that he is still going to put everytihing out there. He looks healthy and looks like he is back to get to the top. Great segment and he picks up right where he left off.
