Roman Reigns and The Big Show Continue To Feud
Big Show comes out and talks about dominating. He talks about his first night on the job, by defeating Hulk Hogan for the WCW Championship. He makes fun of the WWE Universe and calls them losers. He says Roman Reigns is a loser and out comes Reigns. Roman Reigns tells a fairytale of him having magic beans and kicking the teeth down the giants throat. Big Show looks upset and out comes Luke Harper. We get Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper.
Harper slaps away and Reigns reverses it to connects with some fists. Roman Reigns hits a Samoan Drop and he tries to set up the Spear. Luke Harper rolls onto the outside and we head to a break.
Harper hits a thrust to the chest, followed by a few punches. Reigns blocks Harper and hits some knees. Reigns blocks a few suplex attempts and hits one of his own. Harper fires back with a dropkick. He launches him into the barricade and into the steel steps. Roman breaks free from a headlock and knocks him down with some elbows. He hits a big clothesline and unloads into the corner. He hits a nice neckbreaker and Harper is barely able to kick out again. Reigns hits a side slam and another two count. Reigns gets distracted by Big Show, which allows Harper to connect with a beautiful side suplex. Reigns hits a Superman Punch and heads to the outside. He stares at Big Show before hitting a big dropkick. Harper hits a superkick and the finish finally comes when Reigns hits a big Spear for the win. After the match, Big Show hits a KO Punch.
Roman vs. Luke was a very good match. I enjoyed the entire story of the match and thought that both men did a lot of really good things. You can slowly see more pieces to Reigns’ offensive skill set. He needed to get a good win and tonight was a nice combination of both mens’ power and speed. Reigns gets better and better each week and has guys to work with that are excellent. Harper is no different. Big Show adds the final punch, keeping his feud relevant with Roman Reigns. Can it come down to those 2 in the final four at Royal Rumble?
Alicia Fox defeated Naomi
Naomi has her one hand tied behind her back, which allows Fox to get a backbreaker and a two count. Alicia Fox teases her and kicks her hand out of her balancing act. She fights out of a submission move and then Fox hits 4 elbow shots to her. Naomi fights back with a kick and a clothesline. She hits a few more and then kicks Alicia to the apron. She hits a big kick to Alicia’s head. Alicia Fox hits a scissors kick for the win.
This match never picked up steam or interest from the crowd. Both of these Divas are good, but the wife of an Uso gets the shaft since they talked poorly of The Authority. Not much else to discuss here. It was very generic and boring.
