Rusev and Jack Swagger Go Again

wwe rawIt happened so quickly, but tonight was a great step for another Swagger vs. Rusev match. Jack Swagger came down and interrupted Rusev, which lead to a brawl. The All-American got the upper hand and targeted the ankle of Rusev.

Do you care about this match? I would much more if Swagger did not get beaten time and time again by Rusev. Although we are supposed to have short memories, it is not normally this short.

Who else could face Rusev right now? Is he fading to most of you? @JoshIsenberg4 on Twitter for your responses. Personally, I love Swagger in the ring and feel he has gotten better on the mic. I still feel like he is just not taken too seriously from time to time.

Ryback and The Uso’s defeated Kane, The Miz and Damien Mizdow

Ryback takes down Kane a few times and then hits a shoulder block from the top rope. The Uso’s take Kane by the arm and beat him down. Kane hits Jey with a big right hand and then The Miz gets the tag. Miz kicks Jey a few times and then a swinging neckbreaker. Jey fights back and chops Miz in the chest. Damien Mizdow gets in the ring and hits a stunt suplex. Both men head to the outside and we have a break. 

Ryback comes in the ring and clotheslines Miz. He hits a spinebuster and then Kane breaks up the count. Both Uso’s kick Kane to the outside and Jimmy flies to the outside. Jey tries to attack, but The Miz throws him out of the ring. Ryback hits Shell Shocked for the win. 

The faces win in a basic contest here, putting two storylines in one match. I can tell that Ryback has gotten much better in the ring, but I still think the damage was pretty much done a few years ago. He will definitely win on Sunday. If he doesn’t, it will be a complete disaster. They have done everything they can to get him over, except for a win on a PPV. A win against Kane will look good, but it could be the stepping stone for something bigger. It could also be nothing in two months when Bryan and Reigns come back and take the spotlight. Also, Damien Mizdow has grown on me. He is simply hilarious.
