Isenberg’s Reaction: WWE Raw Review “A Huge Letdown From Survivor Series”

Big Show Made a Mistake

wwe rawBig Show comes out and says that he made a mistake. Big Show said that he has a family and makes mistakes. He says he made a snap decision last night and made the wrong choice. Big Show says that he is a good person and the crowd does not agree. He says that the crowd owes him a mulligan since he has put his body on the line over the past 20 years.

He turns from pathetic to angry and yell at the crowd. He says the crowd should not judge him and says that this is his life and how he knows the whispers going around.  He says that if anyone needs to come out and be a man, come out.

Erick Rowan comes out to the ring. (His music is awful) Big Show makes fun of him and says that he should just walk out of the ring since it is made for men. Rowan says he does not like bullies and hits a spinning heel kick to Show.

That was tough to watch. Big Show goes from pathetic and whiney to angry and aggressive to the crowd. It was a boring segment and only benefitted Erick Rowan a little bit. I think Rowan could get a big rub form this, but I cannot see the crowd investing in this feud. Big Show and Rowan are too slow and too similar in the ring to really make it worth our while. Too soon, too soon.

AJ Lee Loses To The Twins Again

Brie takes shots at AJ Lee, but the former champion kicks her to the outside.  AJ hits an elbow to Nikki and Brie clotheslines her. AJ takes down Brie and hits a clothesline and a running knee to her face. AJ gets a two count before Brie kicks out. Nikki grabs AJ’s arm up on the rope and Brie rolls her up for the win. After the match, AJ Lee says that it takes two Bella Twins to beat her. She says talent is not sexually transmitted.

Ugh, I wanted AJ Lee to keep talking and she was cut off so short from getting to a good pipe bomb. I wanted to hear her complain more and talk about their husbands. WWE will HAVE to get to that point where they bring up their husbands and boyfriends. I do think this is a beginning of the departure of AJ Lee. This could have been executed much better than it was, but I do see a little bit of silver lining.
