Seth Rollins defeated Jack Swagger
Swagger starts off working on Rollins with thrusts to the corner. Rollins is able to strike at his back and then hits a great dropkick. Swagger is really focusing on the injured ribs. Rollins takes him down and locks his legs around his ribs to focus more pressure on the injury. Rollins is caught in mid-air and gets taken down with a belly to back suplex.
Seth Rollins is tosses to the side of the apron, but Swagger strikes him in the face. Rollins is finally able to get back, but Swagger tries to lock in the Patriot Act. Both men tumble to the outside, but it hurt Swagger more than Rollins. Swagger gets him in the Patriot Act, but misses Rollins and rams his arm into the pole. Rollins wins via count out.
Out comes Bo Dallas, who tells Jack Swagger he let down millions of Americans. He calls Swagger an “American Zero.” Dallas says he can pick up the pieces and become the new “American Sweetheart.”
I like this from Dallas and Swagger, but I just do not know how long this new feud can last. Dallas needs something important and Swagger is hotter than ever. Jack Swagger will most likely job to Dallas, which is really my only issue. If he is this hot and can be this relevant, try to pair him with a veteran and gain more credibility. I’m 50/50 with this feud and it could easily get better as the weeks go on if they give it enough time and Zeb Colter somehow inserts him into the feud. Swagger is SO much better with Zeb as his mouthpiece.
Rusev and Mark Henry Feuds Continue
Rusev picks up a squash match victory over Sin Cara. Lana talks about Rusev and the USA. She says this is what happens when you disrespect Russia. He beats him down until Mark Henry comes out. Henry comes out and Rusev retreats.
WWE is going to recycle what they did with Swagger because it worked so well. Mark Henry yells at Rusev to get into the ring and challenge him. Rusev and Henry will have a fight come Night of Champions, not a wrestling match. Two big brutes is always tricky to book, but both men are more athletic than we give credit for. Rusev could make this match really good with his smooth agility and impressive strength.
