#10 – Adrian Neville
My number ten on this week's list is a huge wild card. Adrian Neville is an up-and-coming star currently working in WWE's developmental promotion NXT. There's been talk since WrestleMania 29 that Neville is being considered for a spot on the main roster. He's a ten year veteran in the sport, but at 27-years-old that experience doesn't come at the price of putting him out of range of being a mainstay on Raw or Smackdown for many years to come. Formerly known as PAC, the proclaimed "Man That Gravity Forgot" has become well known for his high flying expertise. Check this out (and yes, it is a TOP SIXTY-FIVE moves video):
Adrian Neville is a human highlight reel. He has the potential to be the most fun guy you've ever seen in a wrestling ring. He is quite possibly the most innovative high-flyer since Rey Mysterio made WCW's Cruiserweight division a must-see spectacle. And that's part of the reason I was so scared to put him on this list.
Evan Bourne is an amazing wrestler. Kofi Kingston has the total package, but I have to believe the reason he's been held back for years has to do with his in-ring style. WWE has sunk far more into guys just like Adrian Neville, that have sat quietly on the backside of the roster, working house shows, dark matches and collecting paychecks until the ghost of "future endeavored" past comes knocking. Guys like Tyson Kidd. So who knows what WWE creative will come up with for him. Maybe he'll last several years, dominating the midcard, winning championships and making a name for himself all around the world. Maybe he'll have one solid program right out of the gates, and fall so far off the radar that Hunico has to take over his gimmick.
It's a coin flip. Actually, his odds might be worse than a coin flip. But if given the right tools and means to succeed – and honestly he doesn't need more than ten minutes a week – Adrian Neville could be a big part of WWE's future.
